FC Barcelona Football and Barcelona Schedule
| Football Club Barcelona, or "FC Barcelona", or locally "Culés", or MORE simply, just "Barça", is the premier Barcelona football club. And lately, Barcelona is one of the best football clubs in the world. Founded in 1899 by a group of Swiss, English, and Catalans, Since then, their championships have been many and impressive, including 18 in La Liga, 24 for the Copa del Rey, 7 Supercopa de España, 32 Joan Gamper Trophy, 2 UEFA Champions League, 4 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, and 2 European Super Cup trophies. Their many football championships are as storied as their players, greats including the phenoms Ronaldinho and Carles Puyol. |
| Their home football stadium is Camp Nou with a capacity crowd of 98,787 persons - and the largest football stadium in Europe. Camp Nou was built in 1957 and is located within the city of Barcelona. The stadium houses not only the popular FC Barcelona Museum but also a memorabilia shop, a chapel for players. The stadium is one of the popular stops along Barcelona's Hop On Hop Off "Bus Turistic". Nearly all of the FC Barcelona football games can be heard LIVE in Spanish or Catalán (sorry, no English as far as I'm aware) via many of the Barcelona radio stations found on the BarcelonaMan.com Barcelona Radio, TV, Music, and Movies page. |
